Billions of photos are published on the Web thanks to our camera phones and various digital camera devices.

Nothing can escape the human eye.

An immeasurable number of images are being shared on the Web for different reasons : just for fun, to feed the ego, or simply to share with others.

Each day, these thousands of photographs make up an online constellation.

Using our image microscope, we tirelessly scan and explore this numeric Milky Way, one day after another. What a beautiful thing it is to share!

It is using this method that we award the star photos who have successfully passed our visual inspection tests.

The photos are not necessarily perfect (yet who really knows the definition of a perfect photo?), but they all express something about our Planet and human intrigue : telling stories about little life experiences, playing with points of view, presenting new angles, defining improbable frames, and offering an unbelievable color spectrum.

These are not elitist images, but passionate photos - the LIZ-stars - carefully selected to make up this essential visual encyclopedia : the LIZ-books!
